When placing an order you agree that all of the details that you provide for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the costs of the products you are purchasing.

This website has been created for use by people resident in the United Kingdom and North America.  If you live outside the United Kingdom or North America but would like to place an order then please either e-mail us or use the contact us page and we will be pleased to discuss your requirements.

Consumer Rights: Refunds and Exchange

In line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have a 14 day cooling off period, which means that you may cancel or return your online order at any time within 14 working days, beginning on the day after you received the products.  

The customer must contact 'Out of the Blue' in the first instance to arrange the return of the items.  This must be done in writing either via our Contact Us page or by e-mailing us at outoftheblue02@tiscali.co.uk

When an item is being returned the following conditions must be met:

  1. Let us know before the item is sent back.
  2. Items must be in the same condition as when they were first received.

A full refund for the price of the item and the initial postage will be initiated once we have received the returned goods.  However you the customer will be responsible for the delivery cost of the item being returned to us unless the item in question is faulty.  In the case of a Faulty Item we will refund the cost of returning the item to us.

Your rights to return the goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances:

-Any products that we have personalised or customised specifically for you. 

All Orders are checked before being dispatched and are packaged carefully to avoid damage during transit, however if the item does arrive damaged or faulty please notify us within 48 hours, after which time we will not accept responsibility.

UK Postage and Delivery

Postage = 

Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery
Up to 0.030kg in weight= £1.20
0.031kg to 1kg in weight = £3.95
Over 1kg in weight = £5.95

Royal Mail 2nd Class Delivery
Up to 0.030kg in weight = £1.00
0.031kg to 1kg in weight = £2.95
Over 1kg in weight = £4.95

Postage is calculated when items are added to your basket and can be viewed in the shop basket area and at checkout.

Delivery times are calculated in working days Monday to Friday. 

We aim to dispatch your on the same day as the order is received if your order is placed before 2pm Monday to Friday.  After this time it will be sent the following working day.  Orders placed on a Saturday and Sunday will be sent on the following Monday.

Delivery for Royal Mail 1st Class should be within 1 to 2 working days and Royal Mail 2nd Class should be within 2 to 3 working days including Saturdays. However please allow 10 working days before contacting us if your order has not arrived as sometimes delays do occur.  We will contact you if we become aware of any unexpected delays.

We offer both Royal Mail 1st and Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard Delivery for all of our products up to the value of £50.  There is not a tracking number for this type of delivery.

For Orders over the value of £50 we use Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery, which will provide a tracking number and require a signature. 

Where the product is too big for Standard or Recorded we will use the Royal Mails Courier Service Parcelforce, where certain parcels will require a signature on delivery and a tracking number is provided.  If you are not present a card will be left to advise you to pick up your goods from your local sorting office.  Please be aware that Royal Mail will only hold recorded items for one week before returning them to us.  If this occurs the customer is liable for the redelivery charge. 

All of the Personalised items are sent through Royal Mail and are sent straight from our supplier where personalisation is completed.

Risk and Title

The products will be at your own risk from the time of delivery.

Ownership will only pass to you when item is dispatched.

Price

All prices are in GBP£

The prices of each product are as stated on this website next to each individual item.

These prices include VAT but exclude delivery costs, which will be added to the amount due when you go to the basket and checkout screen.

Prices are liable to change at any time, but a change of price will not affect orders already processed.

Our site contains a large number of products and sometimes errors do occur in relation to prices.  If an order is processed with the incorrect price we will do one of the following:

  1. In the case of your item being over priced and the item is actually cheaper than the stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the product to you and refund the difference.
  2. In the case of the item having an actual price that is higher than the stated amount we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you before dispatch or cancel the order altogether giving you a full refund and inform you of the reason for this.

We are under no obligation to you to provide the product to you at the incorrect price, even after we have sent you an initial e-mail especially if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

We have 2 options on our website through which to pay, which are Paypal and Nochex who securely process payments for Out of the Blue.  Out of the Blue has no access to any credit or debit card details, Paypal or Nochex account information. 

Paypal

You will be transferred to a secure webpage where you can choose to pay by card or your Paypal Account.  Through Paypal we accept cards from MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, Visa Electron and Visa Debit.  If you wish to pay by debit or credit card through paypal just click pay with a debit or credit card or log in and use your paypal account when you get to the secure paypal screen.    

Nochex

You will be transferred to a secure webpage.  Through Nochex we accept cards from MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, Visa Electron and Visa Debit.

Ordering by Telephone

If you are unable or do not wish to place your order through our website and would prefer to order over the telephone then please call our shop Out of the Blue on 01803 866009 and we will be more than happy to help.  We will process your order securely and take credit/debit card details and delivery details over the telephone.

Paying By Cheque

If you do not wish to pay be credit/debit card through our website or over the phone then we would be willing to accept a cheque.  Please contact us at our shop to discuss this.  We do however in the case of cheque reserve delay the dispatch of your order until the cheque has cleared.
