The Art of Gus Fink

Gus Fink hails from the small town of Hazelton, Pennsylvania.  When you're 'different', growing up in a small town can leave you feeling like an outcast.  In Fink's case, being an outcast drove him inward.  Through meditation and mindfulness, he realised there is both light and darkness within us all, which we should embrace.

Fink's Art combines darkness with childlike charm, infusing it with light.  The result is a whimsical world of characters that are rough around the edges and downright adorable.  The world now enjoys his art through pictures, comics, apparel and toys adored by both adults and children.  Even his daughter has collaborated adding more spooky sweet characters to the collection.

It takes a special kind of introspection and imagination to create worlds full of monsters, horrors and darkness that somehow give us a feeling of overwhelming comfort.  This beauty overflows through Gus Fink's art and proves that weird can indeed be wonderful.
