On Saturday 30th July Rosario Flamingo flew into Out of the Blue from Southern Brazil for International Friendship Day.

Rosario had had a very long flight and almost misjudged her landing and caught the top of the scarf stand.  Thankfully no one got hurt including Rosario!

Rosario had made the trip to meet up with her new international friends Bun Bun from the UK and Eddy the African Elephant from Kenya.

They greeted each other in their native languages:
Bun Bun said "Hello"
Rosario said "Olâ" &
Eddy said "Hujambo"

Bun Bun got everyone a drink for them to catch up over.

As a special treat Eddy suggested that they all share a chocolate bomb from the shop to which Rosario used her beak to crack the chocolate open and Eddie enjoyed hoovering up the marshmallows from inside with his trunk.

What says friendship more than sharing chocolate!!

Rosario is now going to stay in Out of the Blue with her new friends for a while and meet all the other Jellycats including Ricky Rain frog also from South America.

What else would you suggest the new friends do together to celebrate International Friendship Day?
